Brisbane

Coffee Machine Specialist runs Brisbane's only prosumer espresso repair workshop with a fully published flat price list, restricted to the brands we sell every day — Bezzera, ECM, Rocket, Lelit, Profitec, and the rest of the Italian and European prosumer line-up. Every repair is backed by a 90-day guarantee on parts and labour. The workshop is in Woolloongabba, just south of the Brisbane CBD, and bookings go through our online service portal.

We don't service consumer machines (Breville, Sage, DeLonghi, Jura) and we don't take commercial gear. That focus is deliberate: a $3,000–$6,000 prosumer machine needs a technician who works on the same model every week, not someone who's trying to remember which Sunbeam part fits. Every spare part we hold, every test rig, and every diagnostic flow is built around the prosumer category — and around the brands we keep in stock as a retailer, so we don't wait two weeks for an O-ring from Italy.

If you've been told your machine is "too expensive to repair" or "needs to go back to Europe", talk to us first. Most of what gets quoted as a write-off is a routine service away from running like new — our guide on when to service your prosumer espresso machine covers what's worth fixing and what isn't. If a machine genuinely is at end of life, we'll tell you, and our espresso machine range covers replacement options across every tier.

Brands we service

Every prosumer brand we sell, we also service. That includes the Italian E61 line-up (Bezzera, ECM, Rocket, Profitec), the Lelit range, the dipper and HX brands (Vibiemme, Isomac, Expobar, Diadema), the lever specialists (La Pavoni, Elektra), and a curated set of compact machines from Nuova Simonelli (Oscar II, Musica) and Rancilio Silvia. We also service the grinders that pair with these machines — Eureka, Mazzer Mini, Compak, Lelit, Profitec, Quamar, and Fiorenzato.

A full brand-and-model index lives at coffee machine models repaired — same list, kept in sync with this page.

If your machine is one of these brands, you're in the right place. For brand-specific buying and ownership advice, our brand hubs cover Bezzera — with a dedicated Bezzera service Brisbane page for owners of the BZ-series — plus ECM, Rocket, and Lelit.

Service tiers and what each includes

We publish a flat price list across four routine-service tiers, calibrated to the machine type rather than the brand. Single-boiler machines (Rancilio Silvia, Lelit Anna, Lelit Pippa) take one routine path; heat-exchanger and dual-boiler machines — most E61 prosumers — take a second; the same machines with PID add a third for the digital complexity; and manual levers (La Pavoni, Elektra) sit on their own tier because the seal and piston work is more involved. Same-day service is available when pre-arranged for a fee.

Rentals

Service Price
Rental Coffee Machine per Day (call to pre-arrange) $15–$30

Every routine service includes the same core work: replace the group seal, swap the shower screen, renew the steam and hot-water tap O-rings, replace the tap gaskets, and run a full health check on pressure, temperature stability, and pump flow. The machine leaves the bench tested under load, not just powered on.

For anything beyond routine — element failures, boiler replacements, PCB diagnostics, frame swaps — we work up to the pre-approved repair amount you set when you book. You can vary that limit when you drop the machine off. Inside the limit we complete the work without coming back to you; beyond it, we'll quote before proceeding. If you'd prefer a quote first instead of authorising a repair limit, the booking fee converts to the quote fee — the top-up is collected at drop-off — and that quote fee is credited against any repair you go ahead with. A minimum of one hour is charged for all quotations and repairs; labour beyond that is billed in 15-minute blocks.

Rental machines are available by the day when your machine is in the workshop and you need to keep brewing. The full service price schedule is the single source of truth — both this page and the price-schedule page draw from the same widget, so what you see here is what you'll be charged.

How a service booking works

  1. Book online. The service portal walks you through machine type, symptom, preferred drop-off date, and your pre-approved repair limit. The booking fee is non-refundable but is credited in full against the service invoice.
  2. Drop off or ship in. Bring the machine to the Woolloongabba workshop during service hours (8am–4:30pm Mon–Fri and 8:30am–12:30pm Sat), or ship it in following the packing notes below. You can vary your pre-approved repair limit at drop-off.
  3. Bench diagnostic. The machine goes onto a test rig the day it's scheduled. We confirm the routine scope and check for anything beyond.
  4. Repair up to your pre-approved limit. Routine work is covered automatically. Non-routine work — element failures, leaking HX, worn pumps — is completed up to the repair limit you set. Anything beyond, we'll quote before proceeding.
  5. Repair and bench test. Work happens, then the machine runs under load on the bench for the brew cycle, the steam cycle, and a temperature stability check.
  6. 90-day guarantee. Parts and labour for the work undertaken are covered for 90 days from collection. The full terms are at servicing guarantees.

Turnaround and same-day option

For machines booked through the portal, standard turnaround is three business days from drop-off. Walk-in machines join the queue and typically take 7–10 days depending on workshop load.

Same-day service is available on top of the standard tier price when you call (07) 3272 9911 and pre-arrange before bringing the machine in. We hold same-day slots for booked-in jobs only — it's not a walk-up service. If your machine is needed for a wedding, a market stall, or a café trial, mention that at booking and we'll prioritise where we can.

Drop-off and ship-in

Bring the machine itself, the water tank (empty), and your portafilter handles ONLY if there's a basket or naked-portafilter issue to look at. Leave the drip tray, cup warmer mats, and any accessories at home — we have spares on the bench and they're easy to lose in transit.

For ship-in, pack the machine in original-style foam (or thick double-walled cardboard with foam inserts on every face), empty and remove the water tank, and include a printed copy of your booking confirmation inside the box. Ship to 199 Logan Rd, Woolloongabba QLD 4102. We don't currently run a pickup-and-delivery service. Any damage caused in transit is the responsibility of the customer.

Workshop location, hours, parking

The workshop is at 199 Logan Rd, Woolloongabba QLD 4102 — just south of the Brisbane CBD. Service drop-off is 8am–4:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am–12:30pm Saturday; the showroom keeps longer hours for retail.

Most customers park in the car park at the back of the building — access is the first driveway on the right as you turn into Taylor Street — or pull into the general-use loading zone at the front. On-street parking is also available on Logan Rd (two-hour zoned during business hours). If you're carrying a heavy machine, use the loading zone and we'll help bring it in.
