The moka pot is the classic stovetop coffee maker — an Italian icon that brews rich, concentrated coffee on any hob. We stock a complete range of moka pots and stove top coffee makers, from the traditional aluminium Bialetti Moka Express to induction-compatible stainless steel models, in sizes from 1 to 18 cups.

Alongside moka pots you’ll find coffee plungers (French presses) and portable espresso makers for brewing at home, at work or on the road. Whether you want the deep, espresso-style strength of a moka pot or the clean, full-bodied cup of a plunger, there’s a brewer here to suit.

Moka pot FAQs

Is it worth buying a moka pot?

Yes — a moka pot is one of the most affordable ways to make strong, espresso-style coffee at home. It needs no electricity, lasts for years, and a classic Bialetti-style stovetop coffee maker costs a fraction of an espresso machine while delivering a rich, concentrated brew.

Is moka coffee as strong as espresso?

Moka pot coffee is strong and concentrated — close to espresso in intensity — but not identical. A moka pot brews at lower pressure (around 1-2 bar) than an espresso machine (9 bar), so you get a bold, full-bodied cup without the thick crema of a true espresso.

Is a moka pot healthy?

A moka pot brews clean coffee with no paper filter, so it keeps the natural coffee oils. Stainless steel models avoid any concern about aluminium contact with coffee, and as with any coffee, moderation is the main thing.

What is so special about a moka pot?

The moka pot has brewed Italian home coffee since 1933. It is simple, durable and inexpensive, makes genuinely strong stovetop coffee, and the iconic octagonal design has barely changed in 90 years — a true kitchen classic.
