Coffee Machine Specialist
Coffee Machine Specialist based in Woolloongabba has become a specialist in coffee machine repairs, especially in the domestic market. With over 10 years of experience servicing predominantly Bezzera and Rancilio Silvia coffee machines, we have expanded our servicing of other brands of coffee machines such as ECM, Rocket, Vibiemme and Expobar.
Coffee Machine Specialist is a Brisbane specialist in prosumer espresso machines, grinders, and the servicing that keeps them running. We’ve been at it since 2013 — first as a workshop, then as a showroom and online store — from our base in Woolloongabba. We sell the machines we believe in, and we service most of what we sell, along with plenty we didn’t.
Espresso machines and grinders are all we do — we’re not a general appliance retailer — which is why people come to us for the machine that actually suits them rather than the one with the biggest margin.
The business was founded and is run by Chris Newsome. Chris has spent more than two decades in the coffee industry selling, dismantling, rebuilding, and servicing prosumer espresso machines — which means the advice you get is grounded in what actually breaks, what lasts, and what is worth the money. When we compare two machines, it is from having had both on the bench, not from a spec sheet.
We import Bezzera into Australia ourselves, so for that brand we hold local stock and back it with an in-house warranty and parts supply. For the other brands we carry — ECM, Rocket, Lelit, Profitec, Rancilio and QuickMill — we are an authorised stockist and service agent, which means genuine machines, genuine parts, and support that does not disappear after the sale.
Servicing is the heart of the business. Our Woolloongabba workshop services and repairs domestic and prosumer espresso machines from most of the brands we sell — Bezzera, ECM, Rocket, Lelit, Profitec and Rancilio among them — whether you bought the machine from us or not. We don’t service consumer or pod machines. Routine services are fixed-price and include the wear parts that matter — group seal, shower screen, tap O-rings and gaskets — so a service is a service, not a surprise. If a machine needs more than a routine service, we quote before we do the work.
Our Woolloongabba showroom is the place to see the machines side by side, compare the build in person, and talk it through with someone who services them for a living. It is a much better way to choose than reading spec sheets — you can feel the difference between a vibration and a rotary pump machine, compare grinder footprints, and get a straight answer to “which one is right for me?”
