Drip Coffee & Pour Over Brewing Equipment

Drip coffee is one of the simplest and most rewarding ways to brew at home. Whether you want a hands-free automatic drip coffee machine for busy mornings or a manual pour over setup that puts you in control, our range covers every filter brewing style. Sometimes called drip brewed coffee or filter coffee, it works by letting hot water pass evenly through ground coffee and a paper or metal filter, producing a clean, bright cup that highlights the character of the beans.

We stock everything from programmable drip coffee makers that deliver the same result cup after cup, to classic manual brewers like the Chemex, Hario V60 and Kalita Wave. Drip filter coffee machines take the guesswork out of your morning ritual, while pour over devices let you fine-tune extraction time and water temperature by hand.

Types of drip coffee brewing

There are two main ways to brew at home. An automatic drip coffee machine heats the water and pours it over the grounds for you, which is ideal if you want consistency and convenience. Manual pour over brewing uses the same drip principle, but you control the pour, so you can shape the flavour of every cup. Both methods make clean, easy-drinking filter coffee without the intensity of espresso.

How to choose a drip coffee maker

The best drip coffee maker for you comes down to how much control you want. For a set-and-forget morning, choose a programmable machine. For hands-on brewing, a pour over kit paired with a good burr grinder gives you the most flavour, since grind consistency makes the single biggest difference to filter coffee. A coffee scale and timer helps you dial in the brew ratio, and our coffee grinders range covers every budget. Not sure where to start? Our team is happy to recommend the right setup for your taste.

Drip coffee FAQs

What is drip coffee?

Drip coffee is made by pouring hot water over ground coffee held in a filter. The water drips through the grounds into your cup or carafe, producing a clean, full-flavoured brew. You can make it with an automatic machine or by hand with a pour over device.

What is the difference between drip coffee and regular coffee?

For most people, regular coffee is drip coffee, the everyday filter-brewed cup. The real difference is versus espresso, which forces water through finely ground coffee under pressure for a concentrated shot. A filter brew is lighter, larger and easier to sip.

Why is drip coffee so good?

It gives you a clean, balanced cup that showcases the flavour of quality beans. Because the water flows evenly through the grounds, drip brewed coffee is consistent, low-effort and easy to scale from a single cup to a full pot.

How do you make drip coffee?

Add medium-ground coffee to a filter, then let hot water at around 92 to 96 degrees drip through. Use roughly 60g of coffee per litre of water, adjust to taste, and you will have a fresh brew in a few minutes. A machine automates the process; a pour over lets you do it by hand.
