Service & repairs
Profitec servicing from our Brisbane workshop — from the Go single boiler to the Pro dual boilers.
We service and repair Profitec espresso machines at our Woolloongabba workshop. Profitec is one of the brands we sell, and the range spans a genuinely wide spread — a compact single boiler at one end and rotary dual boilers at the other — so the service tier depends on which machine you have rather than on the badge.
The scope is every single-group domestic and semi-professional Profitec machine, plus all Profitec grinders.
For buying advice rather than servicing, see our Profitec espresso machine guide.
The Go is a single boiler with PID, and it sits on a different — less expensive — routine tier from the rest of the range. That is worth spelling out, because Go owners often assume a Profitec service is priced as one thing across the brand when it is set by machine type.
A single boiler switches between brewing and steaming with a wait in between, and it has one boiler rather than two to check on the bench. Both facts show up in the tier.
The Pro 600, Pro 800 V2, Move, Drive, Ride and Lucca are dual-boiler machines, most with a PID interface. Two boilers and a programmable interface mean more bench time, which is why the price list separates digital machines from the rest. The Pro 500 PID is offered with an optional flow controller — if yours has one, mention it at booking.
Profitec is a current brand for us, so the consumables a routine service uses come through the same channel that supplies the showroom, and they are the same E61 seals, screens and tap gaskets used across the workshop. Anything beyond routine is quoted before we proceed, and we say plainly when a part has to be ordered from Germany.
Every routine service covers the group seal, shower screen, tap O-rings and tap gaskets, and the machine is run under load before collection. Tier prices are on the price schedule.
Every price is published on the coffee machine repairs price schedule — routine service tiers, descales, the quotation charge and the hourly labour rate. Nothing is restated here, so there is only ever one version to keep current.
Bookings go through the online service portal, which asks for the machine, the symptom, a drop-off date and the repair limit you want us to work to. Machines booked through the portal are back with you in three to five business days, subject to parts and technician availability. Dropped off without a booking, allow up to ten.
Every repair carries a 90-day guarantee on the work performed and the parts we install — the terms are at servicing guarantees. For turnaround, drop-off hours, parking and ship-in packing, see the Brisbane espresso machine repair page, or the coffee machine servicing and repairs hub for the full list of brands we take.
Yes — the Go, Jump, Move, Drive, Ride, Lucca and the full Pro series, plus all Profitec grinders. Profitec is a brand we sell, so these machines are regular work here rather than an occasional job.
It sits on a different tier. The Go is a single boiler, so there is one boiler rather than two to work through on the bench, and it lands on the least expensive routine tier. The core work is the same — group seal, shower screen, tap O-rings and gaskets, then a run under load.
The Pro 500 PID is offered with an optional flow controller, so mention at booking whether yours has one — it changes what we look at. The same goes for any machine where a flow device has been fitted after purchase.
Profitec is a current brand for us, so routine consumables come through the same channel that supplies the showroom, and they are the same E61 seals, screens and gaskets the workshop uses across every brand. Anything ordered from Germany, we will tell you before the work starts.
It depends which machine. A Go single boiler and a Pro 800 V2 dual boiler are different routine tiers. Every tier, plus the quotation charge and hourly labour rate, is published on the coffee machine repairs price schedule.
