Service & repairs
Quick Mill servicing from our Brisbane workshop, across the range from the Pippa to the Elevate dual boilers.
We service and repair Quick Mill espresso machines at our Woolloongabba workshop. Quick Mill is one of the brands we sell, and its range runs wider than most people expect — a compact single boiler at one end, a manual profiling machine in the middle, and rotary dual boilers at the top.
The scope is every single-group domestic and semi-professional Quick Mill machine.
The Pop-Up has a manual profiling valve — a lever on the front you move by hand during the shot to control brew pressure, from pre-infusion through to the end of the extraction. It is a single-boiler machine with an insulated brass boiler and a 58 mm group.
The distinction that matters when you book: the Pop-Up’s lever sets pressure. The E61 flow control device fitted to other machines throttles flow. Same brand, opposite variable — telling us which one you mean saves a round trip. There is more on the machine itself in our Quick Mill Pop-Up review.
The Rubino and Aquila are the volume sellers, and both come in PID and Instant Stability versions — the electronics differ even where the plumbing does not, which is why we ask for the exact model at booking. The Essence and Elevate are dual boilers, with the Elevate available in both rotary and vibration pump versions.
Quick Mill is a current brand for us, so routine consumables come through the same channel that supplies the showroom. Beyond routine, we quote before proceeding and say plainly when something has to be ordered rather than pulled.
Every routine service covers the group seal, shower screen, tap O-rings and tap gaskets, and the machine runs under load before it goes home. Tier prices are on the price schedule.
Every price is published on the coffee machine repairs price schedule — routine service tiers, descales, the quotation charge and the hourly labour rate. Nothing is restated here, so there is only ever one version to keep current.
Bookings go through the online service portal, which asks for the machine, the symptom, a drop-off date and the repair limit you want us to work to. Machines booked through the portal are back with you in three to five business days, subject to parts and technician availability. Dropped off without a booking, allow up to ten.
Every repair carries a 90-day guarantee on the work performed and the parts we install — the terms are at servicing guarantees. For turnaround, drop-off hours, parking and ship-in packing, see the Brisbane espresso machine repair page, or the coffee machine servicing and repairs hub for the full list of brands we take.
Yes — every single-group domestic and semi-professional Quick Mill, including the Pippa, Sunny, Pop-Up, Rubino, Aquila, Essence, Elevate and the Rapida Lever. Quick Mill is a brand we sell, so these are machines the workshop handles regularly.
The profiling lever is part of the machine we service. Worth being precise when you describe a problem with it: the Pop-Up’s lever controls brew pressure during the shot, while the E61 flow control device on other machines controls flow rate. They are different variables, so telling us which one you mean saves a return trip.
It matters, so check the badge before you book. The Rubino, Rubino Plus PID, Luxe and Instant Stability versions differ in their electronics even where the plumbing is shared, and the exact model determines the routine tier and the bench time.
Quick Mill is a current brand for us, so routine consumables come through the same channel that supplies the showroom. Anything beyond routine we quote before proceeding, and we tell you when a part has to be ordered rather than pulled.
It depends on the machine. A Pippa single boiler, a Rubino PID and a Rapida Lever all sit on different routine tiers. Every tier is published on the coffee machine repairs price schedule.
