About this accessory
The Bombora Scale Stopper cartridge is a replacement filter cartridge built to protect your espresso machine from scale. Scale is the mineral build-up hard water leaves behind, and over time it clogs boilers, valves and lines, which is exactly the kind of damage this cartridge is designed to hold back.
Fitting a fresh cartridge keeps your water treatment doing its job. Cleaner, scale-controlled water means fewer mineral deposits inside the machine and better-tasting coffee in the cup, since off-flavours from untreated water don’t carry through.
