The brand

La Marzocco has been building espresso machines in Florence since 1927, when brothers Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi founded the company as Officine Fratelli Bambi. Giuseppe patented a machine with a horizontal boiler in 1939, and in 1970 the company patented the GS — the first machine to pair a double boiler with saturated brew groups. La Marzocco coffee machines Australia bring that same commercial engineering onto a kitchen bench. Read more ↓

The detail
La Marzocco has been building espresso machines in Florence since 1927, when brothers Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi founded the company as Officine Fratelli Bambi. Giuseppe patented a machine with a horizontal boiler in 1939, and in 1970 the company patented the GS — the first machine to pair a double boiler with saturated brew groups. La Marzocco coffee machines Australia bring that same commercial engineering onto a kitchen bench.
The home range is built from the parts that make La Marzocco’s café machines work: a saturated group head heated directly by the coffee boiler, genuinely separate coffee and steam boilers, PID temperature control and a commercial 58mm portafilter. Every machine is hand-built at La Marzocco’s Scarperia factory just outside Florence, and every one is made to be serviced rather than replaced.
Saturated group head for exceptional thermal stability, shot after shot
Separate coffee and steam boilers — pull espresso and steam milk at the same time
PID temperature control for repeatable, predictable extractions
Commercial 58mm portafilter that takes standard tampers and baskets
Hand-built in Italy and fully serviceable by our Brisbane workshop
