About this accessory
The Motta 58mm wood tamper pairs a flat stainless steel base with a smooth wooden handle, made in Italy to Motta’s long-standing standard. The 58mm base fits standard commercial baskets for a level, even puck and more consistent extraction.
The wooden handle is comfortable in the hand and helps you apply straight, repeatable pressure. A solid, no-fuss tamper for daily use at home or in the cafe.
Wipe the base clean and keep the handle dry between uses to protect the timber.
