The Barista Progear distribution tool (WDT) uses an array of fine needles to break up clumps and evenly spread coffee in the basket before tamping. Stirring the dose this way removes the pockets that cause channelling, so water flows evenly through the puck for a more consistent, better-tasting shot.

It’s one of the cheapest and most effective upgrades for fresh or light-roast coffee, which tends to clump as it leaves the grinder. Fits standard baskets and pairs well with a dosing funnel for tidy, repeatable prep.

Wipe the needles clean after use.
