ECM servicing from our Brisbane workshop — the E61 machines we work on every week, and what it costs.
We service and repair ECM Manufacture espresso machines at our Woolloongabba workshop, south of the Brisbane CBD. ECM is one of the brands we sell, so these are machines the bench sees constantly rather than occasionally — the same E61 group, the same German build, the same service intervals.
The scope is every single-group domestic and semi-professional ECM machine, plus all ECM grinders.

The Synchronika II is a dual boiler with PID, and the machines at that end of the range take more bench time than a heat exchanger — there are two boilers to check, and a programmable interface to work through rather than around. The price list separates digital machines from the rest for exactly that reason.
One point worth being precise about: the ECM E61 flow control device is an OEM ECM part, not a third-party accessory. It can be fitted at purchase or later, and it regulates flow rate through the group. If you are considering one, talk to us about the machine you have rather than assuming it is a universal fit.
ECM is a current brand for us, so the consumables a routine service uses come through the same channel that supplies the showroom, and they are the same E61 seals, screens and tap gaskets we work with across the whole workshop. Anything beyond routine we quote before proceeding, and we say plainly when a part has to be ordered from Germany.
Every routine service covers the group seal, shower screen, tap O-rings and tap gaskets, and the machine runs under load on the bench before collection. Tier prices are on the price schedule.
Every price is published on the coffee machine repairs price schedule — routine service tiers, descales, the quotation charge and the hourly labour rate. Nothing is restated here, so there is only ever one version to keep current.
Bookings go through the online service portal, which asks for the machine, the symptom, a drop-off date and the repair limit you want us to work to. Machines booked through the portal are back with you in three to five business days, subject to parts and technician availability. Dropped off without a booking, allow up to ten.
Every repair carries a 90-day guarantee on the work performed and the parts we install — the terms are at servicing guarantees. Yes — the Synchronika II, the Mechanika range, the Technika V Profi and VI, and the Elektronika II Profi, along with the rest of the single-group domestic line-up and all ECM grinders. ECM is a brand we sell, so these are machines the workshop handles every week.
The flow control device for the E61 group is an OEM ECM part rather than a third-party accessory, and it can be fitted at purchase or later. Whether it suits the machine you have depends on the model, so call 1300 551 626 or ask when you book and we will tell you straight.
