Stove Top Plungers Portable Espresso

The moka pot is the classic stovetop coffee maker — an Italian icon that brews rich, concentrated coffee on any hob. We stock a complete range of stovetop and manual brewers, led by Bialetti, from the traditional aluminium Moka Express to induction-compatible stainless steel models in sizes from 1 to 18 cups. Alongside them sit the full AeroPress range, Bellman stovetop steamers for milk, and Bruer filters and accessories.

Whether you want the deep, espresso-style strength of a moka pot, the clean cup of an AeroPress, or a plunger for the table, there is a brewer here to suit — and all of them travel well, need no electricity and cost a fraction of an espresso machine. Seals and filters are the parts that wear out, and we stock those too.

Pair a stovetop with fresh coffee beans and a grinder for the best results, or see our stovetop spare parts when a seal finally gives up.

Moka pot FAQs

Is it worth buying a moka pot?

Yes — a moka pot is one of the most affordable ways to make strong, espresso-style coffee at home. It needs no electricity, lasts for years, and a classic Bialetti-style stovetop costs a fraction of an espresso machine while delivering a rich, concentrated brew.

Is moka coffee as strong as espresso?

Moka pot coffee is strong and concentrated, close to espresso in intensity, but not identical. A moka pot brews at around 1–2 bar against an espresso machine’s 9 bar, so you get a bold, full-bodied cup without the thick crema of a true espresso.

What size moka pot should I buy?

Moka pots are sized in Italian espresso cups, not mugs, so a 3-cup pot makes roughly one large mug. Pick the size you will fill every time — a moka pot has to be filled to its mark to brew properly, so an oversized pot is worse than a small one.
