Cleaning

Regular cleaning is the cheapest way to keep your espresso machine tasting good and running for years. Our coffee machine cleaning range covers everything you need: backflush detergents for the group head, descalers for the boiler, milk-line and steam-wand cleaners, grinder cleaning tablets and microfibre cloths. The bulk of the range is Cafetto, including their organic-certified line, alongside Melitta, Barista Progear and Rhino Coffee Gear.

Match the product to the job: backflush detergent for the group and shower screen, a separate milk cleaner for the steam wand and any milk lines, descaler for scale inside the boiler, and grinder tablets to strip stale oils from burrs. Never use descaler as a backflush detergent or the other way round — they do different chemistry, and descaler in the group can damage seals.

A quick daily wipe-down and a weekly backflush make a real difference to flavour and reliability. Pair your cleaning kit with the right cleaning brushes, or protect your machine long-term with proper water filtration.
