The detail
A precision filter basket is one of the cheapest upgrades that improves your espresso. Swapping the stock basket for a precision-made IMS, Pesado or VST basket gives more even flow and a cleaner extraction, because the holes are laser-cut to a consistent size and pattern rather than punched.
Our range covers single and double baskets from 7g to 22g in 58mm and 58.5mm, plus ridgeless and precision variants, matching shower screens, and group gaskets in the common E61 thicknesses. Machine-brand baskets and seals are stocked for Lelit, Bezzera, Rancilio, Rocket and QuickMill, including the Silvia, and Bruer precision baskets in 18g and 20g.
Check your group size and dose before ordering — an 18g basket run at 20g will choke, and a gasket a millimetre out will leak. If you are not sure what your machine takes, ask our Brisbane workshop. See also portafilters and handles and tampers.
